Dates of the program in Brazil are APRIL 1-April 26. These are dates you are expected to be in Brazil and do not include travel time. Please plan to arrive in Curitiba no later than Sunday, March 31 (Easter!). I would recommend flying/arriving on Friday or Saturday if you can because most stores will be closed for the holiday. Arrange your flight home the evening of April 26th OR April 27th.
**The costs of your hotel will be covered from a Saturday, March 30th check-in through a Saturday, April 27th check-out. If you need more days, you will be responsible for paying for the room each extra night.
Arrival
When you land in Curitiba, you have two options for getting yourself to the hotel (You will receive a contact sheet with the name and address of the hotel in class before you leave):
1. Taxi - will probably cost around $30 USD. Most direct and fast - can share with classmates to make the price more affordable.
2. Take a bus downtown. This will be much cheaper than a taxi. The closest stop to the hotel should be right around Santos Andrade Square. Another major landmark at this square is the Teatro Guaira.
